Many years ago I had N5600H,rebuilt it from a run out.Traveled over most of the eastern US with it,plus Bahamas.Had no trouble carrying 4 in it.It turned out to be faster with 4 aboard, probably because it trimed out better. It was never as fast as adverised. With those big Cub tires was able to land most anywhere, esp. beaches..Really enjoyed it.Based at Danbury,CT.Biggest problem was oil running very hot.It had extra openings in cowl as it had once been a seaplane..People I sold it to ground looped it.

Found your site while searching the web. Beautiful plane and beautiful pic. Gives me the urge to fly again. I owned PA16, tail #5649H when I was working for the CAA/FAA in Alaska, at Cape Yakataga, 1957-59. Again, a beautiful plane.
